Aliyah Moulden Wins The Voice Battle Of ‘Walking On Sunshine’ As Dawson Coyle Is Stolen

Aliyah Moulden and Dawson Coyle delivered a duet of “Walking on Sunshine” by Katrina & The Waves on The Voice. Blake Shelton said that there were a group of girls that got excited at the beginning when Dawson was singing. Blake said that Aliyah brings a lot of energy. Blake picked Aliyah as the winner and to remain on his team.
Though Alicia Keys stole Dawson.
Alicia loved their chemistry. She said that Aliyah’s voice did not overwhelm and that Dawson had a package to him. Alicia chose Dawson. Gwen Stefani thought Aliyah was adorable. She loved her confidence at such a young age and chose her. Adam Levine remembered how great Aliyah was at the blinds but would choose Dawson so he could get to know more.
In their practice, Luke Bryan told them to have some fun with the song. He said to Aliyah to throw in some of that fun. Luke said Aliyah was cute as a button and will capture a lot of hearts. Luke thought Dawson had a real, powerful rocker voice.

Aliyah is being raised solely by her mother since her father passed away from lung cancer when she was only one month old. Music helped Aliyah find herself in high school, and her mother signed her up for vocal lessons. She has opened for Caroline Sunshine, Todrick Hall and Jesse McCartney. This past summer, she sang in the BET Experience at the L.A. Convention Center.
