Dancing with the Stars Premiere: Erika Jayne and Gleb Savchenko Dance Spicy Salsa to ‘XXPEN$IVE’
By Erica Abbott
Next up are Erika Jayne and Gleb Savchenko, dancing a salsa to one of Jayne’s very own songs– “XXPEN$IVE.”
Len Goodman thinks she has a lot of confidence but says the dance was a bit too “raunchy.” Julianne Hough calls her amazing, while Bruno Tonioli says he loved what was put into the dance. He suggests working on transferring her weight more seamlessly, which Carrie Ann Inaba agrees with. She encourages her to get outside of her comfort zone. They score a 24.
Tonight, “Dancing with the Stars” celebrates its 400th episode of glitz, glam and dancing. The dances featured on tonight’s two-hour-long premiere episode include the tango, cha cha, salsa, quickstep and Viennese waltz. Couples will have the chance to show America what they’re made of and put their best foot forward on the dance floor as they compete for the glittering Mirrorball trophy. The first couple will be eliminated next week.
