Spruce Up Your Company’s Image for Spring

Ahh. Spring is in the air! The temperatures are getting warmer. The leaves are turning green again. And people everywhere are taking stock of the things in their lives with a little Spring Cleaning. It’s time for a fresh start.
Spring is a great time to make sure your image shines like gold.
That means it’s the perfect time to examine your branding and marketing strategies, on hold and everywhere else, to make your image shine like pure gold. It also may be the perfect time to launch something new. Here are a few things to consider:
Going social: Are you on Facebook? How about Twitter? Or is LinkedIn more your style? If not, you’re missing out on some great parties. Your customers are there, and you can bet your competitors are as well. But being there isn’t enough. A wallflower remembers being at the party, but no one else remembers the wallflower. Be the life of the party by telling great stories and starting great conversations.
Take a look at your last six social media posts. Now search for your company within social media and find out what others are saying about you. Does it all reflect the image you want? If not, it’s probably time to invest more in your social media campaign.
Check the mirror: Go ahead, take a peek. Look at your office, showroom or retail floorspace. Is it appealing and easy to move around in? Now close your eyes and tap into your other senses. How does your business smell? How does it sound? Studies show all of these factors play into customer satisfaction and retention.
What about your advertising? Are you still using the same old TV and radio spots? Chances are, they have become stale to many prospects, if they are even tuning in. This is a great time for a fresh image for your business.
And finally, don’t forget your telephone. It can be a company’s most neglected customer touchpoint. Take advantage of this simple yet powerful tool with a new on-hold marketing program for spring. A new voice, new music on hold and a fresh script can go a long way to make even your most loyal customers take notice of you all over again.
